One of the hardest things for me in photography is assessing those of my pictures that fall into that big grey area between the obvious winners and the obvious clunkers. The picture above is just one example of a picture which I quite like, but I wonder if the impulse to create it shouldn’t have been smothered at birth.
Maybe, I need an art critic to set me straight on that point

This would make some nice corporate art! Staring at for a bit makes one start to think. Good luck.
Thanks Paul. Comments are a help to assess if you’re on the right track, or not.
I don’t like it at all. Sorry! It’s just too much, and very busy. And although I know both photos were taken at the same place – Shogweni Dam – I can’t see why the images should be combined.
In my opinion, this one should be scrapped…..
I like it.
I like it alot , you really have to dig deep to find something wrong here, it draws you in deep, but you got to keep guessing and searching for what it really is you have mad here.
Its a really funky, artistic art form, good luck
So, whats the verdict, Allan?
I still like it, which is the most important thing, but I’m glad I’m not alone in that.
